Modular crate systems are used to form a tank for the collection of stormwater. When wrapped in geotextile only, the stormwater is slowly released back into the surrounding soil (as soil condition allows). Alternatively, when enveloped in a non-permeable mebrane tank can be used to store water until it released into a storm drain via a flow control device.
